Knobbed Pearl Top Shells

Pyramid-shaped shells with a pointed spire and a crown of small rounded knobs along every whorl, finished with a soft pearly sheen. The surface is textured with fine diagonal ribs and beaded ridges, and the colouring ranges from silvery taupe and warm sand to pale blush white, shimmering with hints of pink, green and gold as the light moves. The base is flat and the opening is lined with smooth nacre. Each shell is cleaned and sorted by size, and knob pattern, shape and colour vary naturally from piece to piece. Their sculpted, pearly look suits shelf and tabletop displays, collector sets, jewellery and inlay work, craft projects, and coastal interiors.
